"Galaxy clone"? Really?
Wow, you people must have hated Super Mario Bros 2-3, and also Super Mario World.
I mean honestly, people, come on.
I thought MS show was rather dull, while nintendo's was rather awesome even though i dont own a wii..

Microsoft covered facebook and Netflix crap along with a woman flailing her arms and throwing paint at the screen. I can make Microsoft's conference sound way more boring than Nintendo's without really trying 
personally Nintendo won E3 if we're talking about announcements Sony won't top those games no matter what, but overall it will be probably worst conference out of big 3. MS is still unbeatable

youre telling me if i show SMB 1 2 and 3 side by side you cant tell the difference in art and design? come on....i couldnt even tell the video was a new galaxy game.

see now, all you guys are saying galaxy clone, what about L4D2? L4D clone? then you are gonna say shit like things look different and it has more undead, well, galaxy 2 does look different, but how many of you guys had the eyes for it?
I think we can safely say this was way better than last year 
The Wii Vitality thingy was not very interesting because they showed the peripheral but not in what way it will be used. (I really think they should have dropped that one from this conference.)
Again (like the Microsoft conference) the Facebook stuff regarding the DSi doesn't impress me.
As for the games: the only real surprises were the new Metroid (Team Ninja!) and (one of my personal favorites) Golden Sun DS. Of course 2 new Mario games was a bit surprising as well.

Yea Metroid looks f---ing awesome. Im glad its 3rd person coz i dont really agree with the fps thing

Are some people actually complaining that we won't se some of these games until 2010?? WTF atleast they don't announce games 3-4 years before release.
If it isn't turnbased it isn't worth playing

Under what system could you justify using graphics or appearances as the primary metric for a game differentiating itself?
