Same here... '11/'12 release for the new generation of handhelds, and the GO will probably be the only model untill then ;)

That's what I thought after buying the PSP 2000 then the PSP 3000 got released , not a big jump but it still made my PSP the "older one".

yea that was one thing i hate about 360 and ps3 and psp.  there is always that fear of next weke they bring out some new model or something.  and i hate not having the best of the system.  thats why i like nintnedo's approach, always just one system, no slim, differnt hardrives, bc or not, ect.  just different colors if you want.

You can maybe say that about Nintendo's recent home consoles but not the handhelds.  GB, GB Pocket, GB Color, GBA, GBA SP, GBA Micro, DS , DS Lite, DSi.  Also, the NES and SNES had slim versions.
