Yes you are right about that, but we better stop trying to put some common sense in some Mods/members.

Wait, why not? Unfortunately, that seems like the more likely game to get ported, since Wii is so "minigame" friendly. |
I agree, why not?
The Wii seems to be the home of shovelware so why not add another one to the list...

Uh, you want to think about that for a minute? Viva Pinata is a multi-million dollar game developed by one of Microsoft's largest second party studios (Rare). I don't think you know what the word "shovelware" means lol.

porting vina pinata is a good move. sales has pretty much topped off, so if it sells well on the wii, it would build a userbase such that the sequel, which be 360 exclusive, could gain wider attention.
the Wii is an epidemic.

Yeah, I know exactly what shovelware means. It's a cheap, half assed game meant to just make a quick buck. I think it's more that I didn't know that joke of a game was a multi million dollar project.
It's even more LOL material now. I can see why Microsoft would want to port the game and get their money back.
I don't know if it will succesfull if you port it, I don't think Japanese buy will this.
And soon the Wii is getting a lot of games (and some of them are party games like Rayman rabbids 2 who are more popular).

Honestly Ben looking at SMG I don't see why VP couldn't be crisp bright and detailed.

Well it depends on if you are talking about Party Animals or the original Viva Pinata. Party Animals I'm sure is a much cheaper game because they can use the engine and characters already made for VP. Viva Pinata though is certainly not a joke of a game. It's very fun and currently has an 85% on Game Rankings.

| Legend11 said: Because no Microsoft Game Studios game has ever been ported to a competing console and for Viva Pinata: Party Animals in particular there's also the fact that Microsoft is relying heavily on the game to attact casual gamers to the 360, porting it to the Wii would negate that. |
I agree with Legend here.
Makes no sense to me. DS is one thing - MS don't have (or want) a handheld - they just want to improve profits and marketshare. Viva on the DS may end up triggering some Ninty fans to buy a 360.
If MS bring this to the Wii, they might as well discontinue the 360 - or give up this generation.
