Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo get's a camera too

Missing some additional features I bet like voice recognition but seems like the same as MS but just watered down some. Still I was surprised that the game was for the Wii, looked like it was heading to the xbox. Still a good get for Wii.

Ubisoft had a pretty good showing, that TMNT game doesn't seem too great however.

Ubisoft had the worst conference, it took 40 min. to show actual gameplay. Also someone needs to make a fitness game for the fat 360 and ps3 owners. The wii has enough fitness games.

Proof or it didn't happen.

Just watched it on G4TV - live E3 coverage of Ubisoft.

June 1, 2009 - Everyone is jumping on the motion control bandwagon. Today at its E3 press conference Ubisoft revealed a motion-sensing camera controller for the Wii. Coming this holiday season, the device will first be used with a new fitness game called Your Shape. You'll be able to put your own image into the game and get real time feedback on your body. The camera connects to your Wii via USB cable.

maybe this will be used for wii fit plus too

It's being made by Ubisoft? then it's not Nintendos. I don't mind. Also it doesn't need to be as advanced. The Nintendo controller input it still king due to it's pointer. Also Nintendo has a mic. it's call a room sensetive Wiispeak. voice recognition is software not hardware.

Actaully this is a good thing. This is a good sign that come to Wii Next Iteration(WiiNI) Nintendo will as I said months ago include a Camera, Mic, LED bar into one bundle. This will also be really good sine it will allow XboxNext and WiiNI to be more cross input compatible.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

I'm excited for it. Looks like a fitness game I might actually purchase.

well apparently they made it with the help of Nintendo so who knows.

does kinda take microsofts steam away though.

i still think MILO is the best thing shown so far though!

hello how are you.

Apparently Ubisoft and Nintendo worked together on the camera and game

Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.

One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

Mannnn I saw the presentation too, and I thought it was for Natal up until the cat was like

*in infomerical voice*

Cat said, "But, Michelle I don't want to have to wait til late 2010 to have this inovation?!"

Michelle said, "If we wait til 2010 you'd be 300 pounds by then!!!"

*intro video of motion cap cam for Wii*

Funny...I don't see the hype ofr this like I did with Natal...from the video the only thing missing is voice rec...

The Interweb is about overreaction, this is what makes it great!

...Imagine how boring the interweb would be if everyone thought logically?

Actually, it is ubisoft that has the camera. nintendo just helped
