OP raises a good point that I hadn't seriously considered before. Now that I think about it, as a 360 owner, I have been pleasantly suprised at how responsive Microsoft has been at satisfying the desires of its customers.

As to which game the 360 will gain next, I couldn't hazard a guess.

i dont think it has to do with satisfying their customers. they get these games in order to make people want an xbox 360 vs a ps3. if xbox gets games that were formerly exclusive then why would any1 want a ps3? its all about helping them come in 2nd and trying to destroy the playstation brand, IMO.

You are indeed correct.  Nobody in his right mind would attribute Microsoft's desire for customer satisfaction to pure altruism.  At the same time, I hope that reasonable people don't begrudge any company's desire to improve upon its brand.

In any case, the end result of Microsoft's ambitions is satisfied customers, which--speaking as a customer--I certainly don't begrudge.

so this was probably "w are breaking the bank".
"and they buy games because they are insecure of their own first party"

things we were hearing about, i am just hoping it's released on both platform at the same time.
while i still can get it on quality hardware it won't bug me.
