How is the PS3 finished because a multiplat MGS was announced? Is it overreaction?

Because they think like most of us that the M$ E3 was unbeatable? Well Sony hasnt gotten where they are to give this one up so i see a few suprises in store. PS3 most certainly isnt dead.

Is it finished because Mgs is on 360.

1. We dont even know if its exclusive.
2. Ps3 lost an even bigger exclusive last year.
3. No its not finished.

I dunno when SONY still has GT5, the best selling exclusive game of last generations sequel, how can people say they are finished?

isn't that like saying Xbox 360 was finished in 2006 (before Halo 3 came out)

or like saying a nintendo console is finished before its mario comes out

Well that was last gen. And looking on the sales of all the other big games for PS3 you can be sure that GT5 wont sell more then Halo3 does/did if it launches this year.

GT4 on PS2 came out when the install base was huge and the competition was dying. No they're last, MS will have pushed 2 Forza games and with a much smaller base.

GT5 will be huge but do not look at it as a saver.

Last year every PS3 fan on this site was cursing Sony and ready to post pictures of their burning PS3's. It's not even remotely close to that this year, it's more happy 360 owners than angry PS3 owners.

Because the PS3 is finished. You wouldn't buy it if 'some assembly' was required.
