Sony OR Nintendo don't really have to do much to out perform MS's conference. MS's was "decent" at best. There were no real surprises there and none of there announced stuff is in the slightest appealing to me(besides MGSR but thats MP). Crackdown 2, big woop, saw it coming, heard rumors going on about it months ago. L4D 2 being 360 exclusive really is not that big a shocker seeing as the first as stayed exclusive. Mass Effect 2 trailer was a little old, saw it on gametrailers days before. Don't even get me started on there motion sensing technology. As if the world really needs more casual games, UHG! The motion sensing route will def get them the casual gamer's attention though. All those who originally flocked to the Wii now might be looking at the 360 which is now cheaper and same experience(if not a better one). Yet this does nothing for me, a 20 year old who is fit like a track star but lazy as the day is long(lol). I can care less for moving while I game. I rather sit in my own body soil for days at a time not moving anything but my fingers.
Sony has put out info on many of there biggest titles already and have been doing nothing but boast about what they have in store for E3. For sony to have the gaul to release Project Trico teaser, Uncharted 2 gameplay, Heavy Rain ingame footage, announced they are getting the Fallout 3 DLC too, getting Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, as well as many other EXCLUSIVE games from a few publishers(more JRPGs FTW) they DEFINITELY have something bigger than MS's conference.
I am expecting....
-More info on all the above games, maybe some release dates.
-God of War III stuff
-Twisted Metal PS3 game announced, shown, and dated
-Metal Gear game that is EXCLUSIVE to PS3(MGS5 or a spin off like the 360 one)
-Reveal Project Trico formally
-MAG will get some screen time.
-PSN XMB updates and additions:maybe in game video/voice chat.
-Backward Compatibility coming back to the systems
-New Bundles with games and a movie or something like that.
Not to forget the PSP....
-PSP Go(stupid idea if it is true that no UMD drive)
-Tekken, LBP, Assassin's Creed, MGS Portable 2, Gran Turismo, Rock Band, and a butt ton more of PSP games
and the motherload, a price cut(about a 50% chance of happening)
