9/10 only because nothing is ever perfect!

8/10

Would have been almost a perfect had it not been for NATAL's Milo, the painting in NATAL, FB and Twitter on 360, and of course NATAL being an Eyetoy ripoff and Wii marketing ripoff.

But 8 for all the other good stuff that did happen.

Milo churns it up a notch... I give it a 10... if not for Milo it would be a 8 or 9.

8/10.

Alan Wake continues to be my most anticipated 360/PC game, I'm really hoping I can update my rig before it hits. Besides that, the game announcements were great. We knew the majority of them were coming, but seeing them was nice.
The last portion of the conference was quite weak, a lot of stuff could have been shown at another time during E3, and should not have taken the main-stage.

Seriously, do you have no concept of the difference between the EyeToy and Project Natal?

I have no hate for the EyeToy, but the fundamental gesture recognition the EyeToy has is NOT full body, 3D space recognition.  The eye toy also  does not claim to have face and voice recognition abilities (not voice command, voice recognition).  You can compare the two right now to marginalize the importance of Project Natal if you'd like, but they are not as similar as you'd have everyone believe.

Holy shit, It can recognize my legs too instead of just my upper body? Wow, Amazing.

It was the same thing, they even drew a picture and gave it to the kid in the Natal demo, which was the exact same thing they did in Eyetoy demo.

If the Eyetoy can recognize your movements in the same way that Natal does (and it does) theres no stopping it from doing the same things Natal does, instead of just playing with some strange monkey thing.

Your angst over this is actually quite funny.  If you want to believe the two are the same, go right ahead, have a nice time with that!

I really couldn't care less, I'm not going to buy either, but saying they're not the same is ridiculous, and saying that Natal is "revolutionary" and "innovative" is even more ridiculous.

The incredibly small differences are not enough to differentiate the two.

Suprise, Suprise, every 360 fan is giving it a 10/10 (or higher) and every non-360 owner is giving it in the 5 range. At least there are some normal people on here, too...

My personal tastes...I was really excited by Alan Wake, I thought it looked great. graphics looked good, loved the objects getting thrown at him, etc. Definetly looking forward to it, though was a bit bummed it was set for next year.

Also really excited for Raiden...thats the MGS I can't wait to play. I hope they execute the gameplay well. It's potential is really high.

Other than that, there wasn't too much I cared about, but there was still a lot of "major" games that they should brag up - the Halo's, SC, F3. I'm not excited about them (I'm halo'd out), but I understand they are big announcements, even if already known.

Kept going back and forth on the camera, but the fact that they ended with "running your fingers through the water", and that was done with the eyetoy quite a while back, it left me thinking "gimmick". Maybe they'll prove me wrong...

All in all, probably about an 8/10. Much better than last years.

(as a PSWii owner) people saying that the Eyetoy and Natal are the same thing are useless fanboys. This is big for all gaming and technology. I've already explained why I think so in several other posts.

I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

I thought it was very good to be honest.

Forza cars looked better than I expected, although that fantasy circuit was a bit of a let down. Last.fm, facebook and all that sort of things are nice too. Halo, MGS, yadayada all the expected things checked, and ok. Natal... looks too good to be true on video... in practice, there are a lot of things that I don't see working so good, just like with the Wii and that guy playing the drums in Wii Music. Overall very good.

It's really funny watching all you guys with Sony PSN tag rate this conference 7.

Seriously, this is Xbox 360 Conference. IF you are fans of 360, then you will be EXCITED for Halo, L4D and Crackdown.

Showing those three plus new Halo:Reach, Forza3 (cockpit view included for the hater) is more than enough to make this conference a 9 for any 360 fanboys. MGS on 360 and release date and FF13 running smoothly on 360 built is just icing on our big green cake.

Go take your hate somwhere else or wait for Sony conference which I am sure will be just as exciting. I can't wait to finally see PSP GT:Mobile and not to mention GT5 the full game.

Yes, rating it a 7/10 clearly reeks of fanboyism (are you freaking serious?).  Did all the 360 fan-boys rate last years conference as a 10/10 as well, or is this new?

I'll give it an 8/10...

++++ Splinter Cell Conviction
++++ MGS Rising (although brief)

+++ Crackdown 2
+++ Left 4 Dead 2

++ Forza 3
++ Alan Wake

+ Halo ODST (Although short)
+ Halo Reach (Short on detail)

Good to have...
Twitter integration
Facebook integration
Zune Video
Radio station (Blast)

Waiting and seeing...
Natal

Disappointed...
- Shadow Complex (I wanted more from Epic)
- No real 1 vs 100 info
