Geoff Keighley has rather cryptically announced that Modern Warfare 2 fans “won’t want to miss” Microsoft’s E3 press conference that is now only three hours and five minutes away.

“Gloomy day in LA, but it’s off to the Xbox press briefing I go. Modern Warfare 2 fans won’t want to miss it,” he tweeted.

I usually don't care about MS securing exclusivity on things (I support MS bringing competition to Nintendo and Sony), but if they've secured exclusivity on MW2 (timed) or on DLC, I'll will crack it (as a PS3 owner and former 360 owner).

If they're just talking about a beta or exclusive new footage at their conference, I'll be happy to see it.

If they announce exclusive content for the 360 I will not be happy. As it is, they will most likely announce a non-PS3 collectors edition and a non-PS3 beta

that would be a megaton if exclusive. That can't be possible.

For fucks sake, now I have to watch out for that. Must... not... watch... MW2 footage >_

If its exclusive there will be Chaos.
If it is, Im just gona boycott IW and Activision. M.A.G will do me

Initial possibilities that spring to mind:

a) full exclusivity - would explain "breaking the bank", but would Activision really turn down all those millions that will be generated by PS3 sales?

b) timed exclusivity - possibility (would be a major bummer for PS3 owners if this lasted til Xmas ended).

c) exclusive beta/demo - COD4 beta was exclusive to 360, so guess it could happen again.

d) exclusive content - possibility.

e) just a multiplat showcase - possibility.

if an exclusive,it is gonna angry a lot of people and MS rep cud get another blow but it will be trully Megaton

I have to say I think there is 0 chance of the PS3 version not being launched on the same day as the Xbox version.

@ wholikeswood, the CoD 5 beta was 360/PC as well so I think that is most probable

Modern Warfare 2 don't want to miss it because it will be the first time we will see much of the game. That is what I think he means =p;
