does Go! Ski really suck? I have Go! Sudoku and Go! Puzzle and they aren't bad for the price.

They are not dumb, but your rant is and heres why.
- Getting into bidding war with MS(alot richer then sony) for NG2 would really be "dumb"on their part, especially when you can use that money to fund God of War a far more bigger more important title.
- No one gave a damn about Enchanted Arms, R6 Vegas or even Graw2. Old 360 ports do not sale well, getting Saints Row or Dead Rising would make no business sense at all right now. Getting the sequels is what matters.
- They kept the important exclusives like MGS and Final Fantasy. Yet your complaining about second rate games, are you serious or just that bored.
360 has been selling phenomally either.

So he isn't entitled to his opinion about what games he likes Darkdays? Bioshock is second rate?

Sony isn't dumb, they don't buy all of their exclusives like another company whose name I'm not going to say.
@ ssj12
if you say bioshock is coming to ps3, then im saying mgs4 and FF 13 is coming to 360
With regard to Call of Duty 4 having an ultra short single player campaign, I guess it may well have been due to the size limitations of DVD on the XBox 360, one of various limitations multi-platform game designers will have to take into consideration-Mike B

Bet with Harvey Birdman that Lost Odyssey will sell more then Blue dragon did.ssj12 said:
I disagree with you on some things here. The main Ninja Gaiden series has always been licensed sole to Microsoft, Sigma isnt. Sony not buying companies out is a good thing, look how much we hate EA for doing it. BioShock on the PS3 is still up in the air, remember Eternal Sanata wasnt supposed to go to the PS3 and it is. It probably just has a hush-hush timed exclusive deal, like Haze is for the PS3 even though that ones completely screwed up and we know about it going to the 360 already in the Spring. As for a list of games, I would like to thank GT for it in the other thread, and me thanking him is scary as he is an annoying troll that normally doesnt back a single thing he says up. MGS4: Guns of the Patriots These were all at TGS. Most are exclusives and some arent but still thats a mighty fine list of games there. And for the holiday season we can add UT3 and Haze to that list as timed exclusives. |
Seriously out of all those games which are big?
-MGS4
-DMC4
-Ratchet and Clank
-Heavenly Sword
-Little Big Planet
-Soul Caliber 4
-Gran Turismo 5
For the rest most of them will turn out crap. There could be some surprise games like White Knight Story or The Last Ramnant but theres not that many. Plus some up there might turn out like crap. Devil May Cry might suck you never know. Look at the second or SC4 could suck you never know how a game could turn out.

They may seem second rate to you but there not to me. Saints Row Looks really fun and I love the GTA games. The only thing I like more then GTA games are Zombie games and Dead Rising is my calling card. Truthfully thought MGS is overhyped. I like the game but its not a perfect game series. Same with Final Fantasy, I dont get why people like the battle system. The only reason I play those games is because of the great story mostly. Thats why I didnt like XII.

It's just another BS Sony PR blunder. Sony bought their fair share of exclusives when the original Playstation launched, and look what happened -- it worked! Their sales skyrocketed and they dominated the industry for 10 years. @HappySquirrel, I love my N64, but Nintendo did mishandle third party support, and it wasn't because they were trailing in sales. The N64's launch was absolutely massive, and they just about caught up to the PSX. I'm not saying buying up third parties would have been a good solution (nor would it ever happen, Nintendo's playbook is too bottom-line-centric), but they sure as hell made it easy for Sony. |
I think Nintendo could have secured more key third party titles (either as exclusives or as multiplatform games), and that would have improved the outcome, but what I was saying is that would have been difficult on a large scale.
Companies like Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo can easily buy a few games because (for them) the $5, $10, or $50 Million price tag on the game really isn't that much money and all of these companies have (directly or indirectly) done this. The problem is that most consumers are not satisfied with simply having a Resident Evil, Rogue Squadren or Killer 7 game they want access to as many third party games as they can get; the problem is you simply can't afford to secure the majority of third party games through paying companies.

I guess stuff like that happens and I can deal with that but now Ninja Gaiden 2? Come on Sigma just came to the PS3 and I was hyped for another one but then Microsoft buys it and helps develope it. There are tons of other games like that too where other company's bought it and Sony didnt even try buying it. I think Sony made a comment about how they dont wanna buy games for there platform because that would be bribing. Seriously I think thats the dumbest comment ever. |
I have a strategy for this.
Probably MS bought it years ago and ask the deverlopper(s). To make an remake on PS3 of the original game on Xbox (Xbots will not be mad because they have that game already) because of that some PS3 fanboys/owners will get in love with that game that they for sure wants to play the sequel and then MS announces they bought them and show NG2 so that PS3 fanboys/owners who liked the remake will think for sure to buy a X360 or not.
