Actually it's $45 on Newegg, $44 on Amazon, and $50 on Gamestop. Seriously, mark it down to $30 and keep it there for a while and let's see what happens ;)
When the HD systems came out (specifically the X360 since it was first), they claimed that the $60 pricetag for games was the new acceptable price point because of the high costs of developing HD games. Ok, fair enough, so shouldn't the Wii games be priced appropriately lower to compensate for the low cost of developing their games? Can't think of many new Wii games that started off in the $30 range (except Dawn of Discovery), but I would think that would be the key to higher upfront sales on the Wii.
Hardware is only a means to enjoy great games!
