I always found this remake more appealling. But hey, both are looking great and Return Of Samus is one of my favorite games ever. Let's hope they release it as a full game and not just demos.

I used to think that, but the project is basically dead. The main coder says he won't really be working on it from now on; the engine in those videos has been abandoned and rebuilt on poorer technology (completion level unknown), and he hasn't posted anything substantial for months. Oh, and their website is down.

Aah, so vonrichter pulled a nibris then? Too bad, it looked awesome. Well if AM2R still gets released i'll happily play it. I always felt sorry that nintendo dropped metroid evolution in it's games that's why Omega Metroid in fusion came as an awesome surprise. And i really wan't to slay a Metroid Queen again.

Damn, I'm not surprised. Big remake projects like these never come to fruition (remember Ocarina of Time 2D?)...

The only project that worked was Zelda Classic. They're about level with LttP in terms of features now...

wow. it looks so good. it compares well to all the new "retro" games nowadays like megaman9 and Contra Rebirth. this guy is very good indeed.
