Forums - Gaming - Is the Ps3 the Golden Era of this Generation? Let's have a discussion!

The concept of hardcore/casual is dependent on the gamer playing the game, not the game, so I don't the point of discussing this.

Also, does quality equal variety? The quality of games has supposedly been drying up on Wii, and it has a smaller diversity because of it? But to address your point, I've played House of the Dead: Overkill, Deadly Creatures, MadWorld, Punch-Out!!, and The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask on VC (if you haven't played it yet it's a great idea) and they have all been released in the first half of 2009.

Jak IV huh?

Do wish it were true.

the ps3 has definitely had great games stretching across its entire life. It has had at least one must own title in every quarter since its been released . (Oh yes this even includes the first year, when you didn't own a ps3 but would claim it didn't have games)

The wii has had great games but too far in between each one.

The 360 although very solid up to last christmas has had nothing to offer as a must have game these first 5 months to my and many gamers dismay. It looks like we will even have to wait until Halo ODST drops in the fall for one of these games.

Definitely THE golden console of this generation. Looking into the future, its no contest who has the greater game lineup. Ps3 owners don't have to HOPE that something is announced for their console, but can instead be consoled in the fact that they have superb games coming their way

Fact: Earthbound is the greatest game ever made

This was the main reason i wanted a PS3 and will always probably stick with Sony. Sony hasnt let me down with a great library of diverse games. PS3 is the golden era this gen in my book.

I had already explained this if only you had taken the time to check the earlier comments made in the thread instead of making such a stupid and useless comment.
