I think Nintendo's goal is to make a lot of plus games. Nintendo is following disruption, so motion plus is their way to slice upstream. I assume Nintendo will make a lot of fans happy in the future with more core titles using motion plus. In this way, Nintendo will convert them to the new values. I don't think E309 will be that unless Zelda comes out, but E32010 and beyond might. I suspect they are also making higher tier versions of their Wii games. I wouldn't be surprised if Wii Music plus will happen with new instruments.

I got a little side tracked. Overall, Nintendo will focus more on their core byu bringing them over to the "dark side." The method of doing so will be motion plus, an I think it will be Zelda who pionneers that. It only makes sence.

@TheSource: Since Mario and Luigi 3 is already out in Japan, I doubt a Japanese newspaper would talk about that. M&S isn't new either, so it is probably not that. I would assume it is the Mario game they talked about last year.

You're very right there.

Nintendo's moving upstream now. I wonder if they're going to also do a Wii Remote with built-in MotionPlus.

@The Source: It's an old bet, I said Nintendo was going to release 2 new games only on the first half, and they did, Punch-Out and Excitebots. In reality, I guess none of us won, since the bet was "Besides Wii Sports Resort and PO, Nintendo isnt going to release any new game for the first half"

Well, they released Excitebots instead of WSR, so none of us was right.

Again, we don't really know which titles is being referred to here. I'd say they are about due for Mario Party 9 too.

Is there a more specific translation than just "Mario" game?

Better translation:

Nintendo's Health-care game (Wii Fit's) new production will release this fall. Through net connection, you can track the weight loss of friends and family to compete for "competition" fun. The present version has made it possible to make a comparison with your weight and center of gravity.

 

Takes too long to hand-translate the rest (i don't know kanji. sue me). But it doesn't specify anything else about the Mario game, other than 2nd half 2009
