Forums - Nintendo - Phantom Brave pushed back to support Japanese language!

I usually given the English voice tracks a spin in games that offer Japanese, but I usually find myself switching to Japanese quickly. The American voice-acting industry just doesn't have the history or respect needed to produce the same quality of acting, which is a problem because getting the latter pretty much requires the former.

But in any case, I consider this good news for a different reason: if they're delaying it by this long, maybe they'll actually do something more closely resembling proper QA on this game. It's been a while since they last did that.

Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

What do I hate about modern gaming? I hate tedium replacing challenge, complexity replacing depth, and domination replacing entertainment. I hate the outsourcing of mechanics to physics textbooks, art direction to photocopiers, and story to cheap Hollywood screenwriters. I hate the confusion of obsession with dedication, style with substance, new with gimmicky, old with obsolete, new with evolutionary, and old with time-tested.
There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.

I dunno i tend to find both countries voice acting pretty bad.  In japan it's more of a casting thing.  They NEVER seem to get the voices just right.  Then you've got some skinny kid with a super baratone evil voice and a giant talking like 130 pound assistant night manager at arbys... etc.
