I have a 360 here collecting dust. I don't have the same amount of time I had before to play games, but when I do, it's usually for the Wii. In fact, only for the Wii. DS is also collecting dust, but will get major usage whenever Mario and Luigi 3 hits the States, but that's another topic for another time. Anywho, busy with Punchout (And now Majora's Mask, FINALLY Mr. Nintendo and your wasted VC content!) I happened to see the case for RE:4. Maybe my favorite game of all time. That's saying a lot, being it's non-Nintendo and was on the PS2 as well. And I had the urge to play it again. Very few games, if any, draw me in like RE:4 did. Beat it several times, unlocked most of the cool toys like infinite launcher and that mobster gun. It's been like this since the game came out. First on GC, then Wii.
Speaking of Wii, that version being superior to all others. The controls for that game, it seems, had the Wii in mind the whole time. What, like 2 years before the Wii came out? The fact Leon stood in place to aim while shooting, lent itself so perfectly to the game, again it was like it was built for the wiimote the whole time. So while I'm itching to play the classic, I know the new game is out. I have a 360, and I was thinking "Why not?" From what I know, the new game uses the old control style. Which I loathed. Even if it's been updated, could I go back to a non-pointing controller for a RE game? Any opinions on this? Honestly, if they updated the controls somewhat for the new game, I may take the chance. But if it's like RE controls from the old days, I'm staying the hell away.
