I think you're just miswording your sentence wrong. The bolded, italicized part in your post suggests that no RE game has ever been on the Wii.

So basically you're backing up your point with a false statement, basically your "because" part of the argument is invalid, as RE4 has been on the Wii. If I was to try and guess what you meant, it'd read like this:

"While I'd love RE5, it's definitely not going to be RE5, because they said RE5 has never been on the Wii."

This assumed sentence makes no sense, because it's basically saying that something won't exist in the future, because it hasn't existed in the past.

In other words, you're still confusing us.

I don't think they would announce another Resident Evil game for the Wii (whatever that is) before Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles comes out.

I wouldn't get too excited ... maybe Megaman Wii or Ghouls N' Ghosts Wii would be cool. Or Wii Motion Plus Onimusha.

A RE traditional style spin off (like CV) would be amazing :)

Who says it has to be for Wii?

Monster Hunter DS probably has to happen at some point for instance.
