Yeah I played Cross Edge yesterday... first hour with that game was a terrible mess... something I was really looking into... the battle system is too frustrating for it's own good... and yeah the story is generic and weak from what I've seen it's one of those "Oh I woke up and now I'm in a strange land with other strange people that came from other worlds (games)"

Again I've been looking for a good RPG and my search continues sadly...

Yeah I noticed the slowdown while playing... it does use horrible 3D models for some enemies btw... and the 2D is not even fluid...

There was a bee as one of the starting enemies and it looked worse then Waspinator from Beast wars

Refuse to sign for it, get a refund or something quickly! :P It might be decent after an hour... I hope it is for you so you don't waste money, or the game is just fit for you, for me an RPG fan that really has never played a terrible RPG in my opinion... I couldn't reccomend it... :\
