The little regarded High Voltage Software continues to make large third party developers look pathetic when I comes to Wii. They should be hanging their heads in shame.

Woulndn't it be better for them to be inspired rather than shamed?

A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

They shouldn't be inspired. Third party should be ashamed. Many of those companies actually put effort into the weakest system last generation, but this gen they are being some of the biggest slackers around.

I am really looking forward to this game. I love the l4d zombie horde co-op. It was great, but I'm not really a zombie fan. I however do like vampires, werewolves and monster far more. However This game to be really good needs to have player made campaign maps. Otherwise I suspect this game will do ok.

Here it is. The Conduit won't due well because it's a plain generic game. In the field of generic FPS games it's competing against the likes of Halo. Since it's the same market. Console shooter fans won't leave the 360 just for The Conduit. However The Grinder will do much better. The 4 FPS monster co-op games are still a quite market with only 1 other game. This type of game can appeal to more players than a straight FPS. It's different. The Co-op element goes a long way with this. Especially if they manage split screen online(2 Wiis, 4 players). Due the untapped type of shooter this game is it has an opportunity to bring in more players who are looking for this type of game than say The Conduit. I'm one of them.

Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.

They lied...

wow!! for some reason that line made me say that this is gonna be !$@#ing AWESOME

Well you may be right the Grinder being a more appealing game but you better Hope The Conduit or/and The Gladiator does well beacause you need money to make game I believe these are all stii self funded games which means if don't get some money back the grinder may be axed for fiancial reasons.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

"They shouldn't be inspired. Third party should be ashamed."

You obviously don't realize that the former guarantees more games (or do you even know what "inspired" means), and the latter does not.

Which would you rather have, a ton of awesome games from developers realizing they can make great games on the Wii, or just petty wanting them to suffer?

If the latter, you are no better than the fanboys wanting the Wii to fail.

whoa, looks like they developed an engine that can easily make fps shooters.

That looks like a ton of fun, I'll definitely pick it up.

Those have been around since the Quake Engine.

@lordknight
what I mean is that they said "from the makers of the conduit and (something else). Conduit isn't even out yet. So they are simultaneously making games alongside each other. It's actually a respectable feat given the size of the company.
