Forums - Nintendo - A question for Metroid Lovers

If you have never played any of the Prime series, buy this game. It will be the best value on one disc you can buy. It's a shame that this trilogy has been so ignored.

The MP3 controls make it feel more FPS-like. If you like FPSs, go for that. If you don't, get the original MP and MP2 with GC controls. They're much better for the platforming and discovery elements by taking the focus off shooting.

MP1 and MP2 are MUCH better than Hunters. I personally didn't like MP3, due to the controls, but a lot of people did. And Hunters is universally hated.

I liked Hunters. I was pretty fun.

It doesn't compare to the console ones, mind you, but it was still an enjoyable game.

Agree. It was a good little online FPS, until the cheaters ruined it. And it wasn't a bad game overall, either.

Metroid Prime, however, is the best game of all time and forever. To get that game, and its two sequels (one of which i imagine is still selling for full price anyway), for $50, is a steal. We are blessed to get this offer

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

already played all 3.

MPH Is a more straight foward then MP 1,2, and 3 so you should like the trilogy. and with 1 and 2 getting wii remote controls its going to rock.

Thanks for the help everyone. I think I'll go for it.
