Certainly there has been more than one great game per year from Nintendo. The problem is that there are only one or two that even the review industry doesn't dare to smear in retaliation for the Wii's de-emphasis on graphics, and since the "hardcore" rely on reviewers to tell them what to buy, those are the only games they see.
Even a casual examination of the full Wii catalog reveals more than enough great games to satisfy pretty much anyone. But the "hardcore" refuse to look, and that is why the review industry can get away with the casual abuses of consumer trust that they've been committing this gen.
Complexity is not depth. Machismo is not maturity. Obsession is not dedication. Tedium is not challenge. Support gaming: support the Wii.

There is much to hate about modern gaming. That is why I support the Wii.
