Mass Effect will do around 300-400k first week, FFXIII will do 1.5m-2m first week.

Ah so its just rating so far, good luck on your bet, although to be honest I simply can't see you losing here so there's very little element of luck needed, the worse I can see is a draw for this bet.

But why compare the 2??? One's an action WRPG which [my opinion on the first game] plays like a 3rd person shooter. The other's a tradition JRPG [which was announced to be turn-Based I believe].

Americas: FFXIII will win 1st day, week and lifetime.
Worldwide: FFXIII will slaughter Mass Effect 2
Japan: Lols

I think the two will sell pretty equal without Japan.
FF12 didn't do that much in NA and EU, and the sales of JRPG is falling day by day.
There isn't even a single JRPG sold more than 1million yet this gen. But for WRPGs we have 4 2million sellers: Mass Effect/Elder Scroll IV/Fallout 3/Fable 2
