i tired playing it online at launch and it was super laggy, so i never really got enjoy it. Did they fix that?  I wanna give it a try again

For me it means another login, which is irritating. Then, when there are updates, you have to download them using those two options Konami presents you with, none of them as fast as downloading updates from the PSN, as it is for other games.

For some it may seem I'm conjuring up a storm in a small cup of water, but my patience runs thin for unwelcomed and unneeded features.
