im surprised at PS3, i thought it would keep itself at 15k

I'm surprised the FF demo boost lasted so long, 10k is still reasonable for the PS3 given the time of year and it's price point.  360 still clinging on around 5k I see, nice to see Microsoft's aggressive strategy last year has paid dividends by increasing sales significantly, ok it's never going to trouble the PS3 or Wii but it's come a long way since the weekly 1k figures.  Wii still steadily pushing units out of the door too.

All in all these are boring numbers in some ways as there is not much worth discussion is there?

Nest week expect a big increase on DS and a increase on PS3 and X360.

They still like their handhelds

As a Xbox Fanboy I am glad to see the PS3 Numbers

Sales spikes from franchises that are followed don't result in sustained sales.
