These speculations are making me nervous lol. I'm actually starting to get frightened that Sony might have a huge megaton of something like GTA5 magnitude.

That kind of thing would crush the X360.

i think thoug Rockstar could make next iterations of GTA as a DLC episodic games and that would pretty much fit ps3.

but not the 360....you realize thats exactly what The Lost and Damned and Ballod of Gay Tony are right? GTA will be multi-plat from now on period. The only reason these two DLC aren't on PS3 is because MS paid for them. I wouldn't be the least surprised if Sony get exclusive DLC as long as they pay for it but the prospect of them getting a FULL GTA game seems a little rediculous to me.

All I'm saying is imagine you're Sony for a second. You KNOW that GTA is the reason PS2 dominated in NA/EU. Why the hell are you going to let Rockstar out of their contract and give up your biggest advantage in the west for some random no name IP? Makes no sense. I can only assue it's A) Sony is stupider then we ever imagined, B) Somone came up with enough money to buy out the contract or C) This "New IP was enticing enough to that Sony felt they could let GTA4 fly.

Again all assuming that there was in fact a contract.

GTA has always been muliptlat where the hell have you been in the last 10 years?

i think sony had only timed exclusivity for GTA games on ps2 cause later on GTA games were ported to xbox and that was the whole deal.

wheres the proof that GTA4 was EVER contracted for only PS3. I've never heard that. I think GTA4 was the exact same situation as FFXIII. Both companies were making rediculously expensive games and looked at the way they thought this gen was going. Both saw a great opportunity for multi-plat which would help offset the very high development costs.
