Its like Contra , why do people like it? its just a side scrolling shoot em up with co-op

If there really is a new left 4 Dead then O_O
But if its exactly like the first one(from the description) then....hmmm...

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

Well sorry to sound fanboyish, but Left4dead is a typical example of a successful game... thanks to the online integration behind it.
I don't see this kind of game becoming a successful on PSN for example .... must be why PS3 owner don't understand the concept.
It is purely aimed at playing coop or versus-coop. A bad team will inevitably ruin your gaming experience... that is why it is quite delicate...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

I don't know about 'don't understand', but yes, that is the main reason Left 4 Dead wouldn't work on the PS3. Offline yes, but Online where the most time is spent...no.

unlikely. More maps/scenarios perhaps.
If any non-DLC retail product makes it onto E3, it'd be an expansion pack.
Sounds great, but I agree with thetonestarr, it would probably come as an expansion with 2 or 3 new maps at most. Either way the idea of additional maps and content for an already amazing game would be awesome.
(Crosses Fingers)
Hmmm, reminds me of Resident Evil 2/3
Yet, today, America's leaders are reenacting every folly that brought these great powers [Russia, Germany, and Japan] to ruin -- from arrogance and hubris, to assertions of global hegemony, to imperial overstretch, to trumpeting new 'crusades,' to handing out war guarantees to regions and countries where Americans have never fought before. We are piling up the kind of commitments that produced the greatest disasters of the twentieth century.
— Pat Buchanan – A Republic, Not an Empire
Sounds valid but I bet instead of being L4D 2, they'll just release this as DLC. It seems to make alot more sense at least than a true sequal.
i will really hate Valve if they show L4D2. personally i thought first game should be a xbox live downloadable game at best considering there was so little content, but instead they released the game for 60$. iand now we are basically getting same game with the same maps, but with different characters and few new weapons? it's ridiculous.
PS3 please!!! Oh god please!!! I will take one for the team and start sucking major cock to make this happen!!
*immediately regrets decision*
I JUST had to share that LOL!!!!!!!1
