Forums - Nintendo - IGN: Pre-E3 2009: Nintendo Voice Chat Podcast

Damn it, what's wrong with Nintendo's Western teams, first Project Hammer gets cancelled, then it's Kid Icarus (Factor 5 is third party but was handling a 1st party IP) then Retro's game also gets butchered.

I hope we hear something about any 1st party team at this E3, this news got me a bit worried.

"Cool third-party announcement"

for wii or DS?

Seems like Thursday and Friday will be a pretty busy day at IGN haha.

I'm just happy that wii third party support is taking an "up swing" with the leaders being EA,Ubisoft"surprisingly",HVS, Capcom, and Sega. But this always a problem with this will I be able to afford all the games and this without knowing what the hell Nintendo has.

I love fighting games !!! Come on challenge me !

im excited for the announcement, anything matt says isnt amazing (gladiator, overkill) i find awesome. hopfully the pattern will continue

SEGA have gotten burned?! Not after Mario & Sonic, no. And certainly not after The Conduit.

The game craig is going to reveal is a DS game. The reveal tomorrow is going to be a Wii game.

"Pier was a chef, a gifted and respected chef who made millions selling his dishes to the residents of New York City and Boston, he even had a famous jingle playing in those cities that everyone knew by heart. He also had a restaurant in Los Angeles, but not expecting LA to have such a massive population he only used his name on that restaurant and left it to his least capable and cheapest chefs. While his New York restaurant sold kobe beef for $100 and his Boston restaurant sold lobster for $50, his LA restaurant sold cheap hotdogs for $30. Initially these hot dogs sold fairly well because residents of los angeles were starving for good food and hoped that the famous name would denote a high quality, but most were disappointed with what they ate. Seeing the success of his cheap hot dogs in LA, Pier thought "why bother giving Los Angeles quality meats when I can oversell them on cheap hotdogs forever, and since I don't care about the product anyways, why bother advertising them? So Pier continued to only sell cheap hotdogs in LA and was surprised to see that they no longer sold. Pier's conclusion? Residents of Los Angeles don't like food."

Factor 5's phone lines have been disconnected? hmm. I wonder if they were calling San Rafael, or Germany.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

so the cool third-party announcement is Fragile... it is indeed pretty cool and awesome!

MikeB predicts that the PS3 will sell about 140 million units by the end of 2016 and triple the amount of 360s in the long run.

#2 to an existing game...

New Super Mario Bros?
There's also a good chance that it will be this newly-trademarked Wii Fit Plus, although I don't think that would really be considered a 'sequel'.

Could I trouble you for some maple syrup to go with the plate of roffles you just served up?
