Ive tried google it, and youtube. But all i find is some exploit where you Save/Dont save with two profiles.

So my question to you is... where the **** is that rotten egg and who do i have to kill in order to get it!!? Ive flashed my way through spiders, ive shot my way through supposed rotten egg chapters and ive made every chicken in the game scared to death without any success. Ive finished the game on Hard or Advanced (whatever its titled). But that freaking egg just wont show itself.

Any suggestions?

From this guide:


F. Egg Hunt

  • Find all 4 types of eggs. 15G
  • The 4 types of eggs are White, Brown, Gold, and Rotten.  White and Brown eggs are found at random at the start of chapter  3-1. Just check the chickens in the fence and you will most  likely find a white and brown egg. If not, just go back to the  dock next to your boat and listen for loud chicken noises and check back in the fence. Same with the gold egg, only this one is really rare and make take some patience for one of the chickens to lay one. Brown chickens are more likely to lay gold eggs so if there are mostly white chickens, kill the white ones off and walk to your boat and return. The chickens respawn when you do this. Just hopefully they will respawn as brown chickens. If not just repeat the killing process. Rotten Eggs are randomly dropped from Majini's after chapter 5. So they are pretty rare as well. Just when you start chapter 5-1, start checking all dead bodies of  zombies you kills. Note: You must have all eggs in your inventory at once for this achievement to unlock. If you know someone who has completed the game and has all 4 eggs, they can just give them to you.
  • You can also collect eggs by shooting the snakes that jump out of  pots/crates you've smashed. The one treasure room in the last mirror  puzzle room has six snakes so if you are lucky you can get it  there alone. 1st_Level_Grunt
  • The Majini will drop Rotton eggs at random as early as Chapter 4-1. I can't confirm this myself, this was sent to me by A ListCelebrity



I haven't played the game so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for but at least says something about rotten eggs.

So one says its random from 5-1 and one says its random, and not even sure, from 4-1. Sweet. Zzzz. Thanks for the respons though twesterm!

it's 5-1 I can confirm it from experience. Any random majini from 5-1 will drop it. The drop is quite rare I should warn.



PS One/2/p/3slim/Vita owner. I survived the Apocalyps3/Collaps3 and all I got was this lousy signature.

if you play mercenaries you find plenty of rotten eggs. I cant remember a time playing when I hadnt found one and wished it was an herb instead

Speaking of mercenaries, how do you unlock more maps? All i have is that first one. But ive only had like a D rank playing it. Do i need a higher rank to unlock the other maps?

I believe you need a B rank to unlock maps, although that could be the requirement to unlock new characters (can't recall). It's either a B or a C that you need in order to unlock maps.
