Still, I rather play new games made specifically for the Wii than older games I've already beaten/already own. No point for me at least, and I believe most people would rather play a game made in mind with the strengths of the Wii rather than old games made for other hardware.

I don't. We've had ports since the Golden Age, and they've stood on their own merits, not whether they played to a system's strengths. I dought SNES owners complained that Street Fighter II was designed for an arcade stick instead of the SNES pad. They either bought their own sticks or adjusted the control.

This has not changed just because it's the Wii. RE4 was not made specifically for the Wii, and it works beautifully.

It's about making the gameplay work, which any game can work with if done right.

But the thing is I bought the Wii to play new games, I honestly don't care if people didnt have a GC last gen, that's why the Wii is fully BC with it. Why waste devs time and resources making ports?

I know, easy money, good for Nintendo, but not good for me, therefore I dont like that and I hope that after the remaining 2 ports (MP2 and Chibi Robo) they end with them and focus on new games.

The worst-case scinerio would be all the great developers show up to tell us that they are working on a console zelda, pikmin 3, ect. Then a meteor crushes the building, killing all the nintendo developers.
