After a few more tries it could only hold it's charge for around a minute. After that I just started using standard disposable ones. Energizers.
And I know how you feel. I bought my last stack of batteries for half the price+ a buy one take one deal. I ran out now though. |
Well sounds like you had bad luck or something with those rechargeables. I use the energizer rechargeables and 15 minute energizer charger. Mine last about 6-10 hours playtime. 15 minute charges make the rechargeable batteries lifetime shorter but not that short. I have charged the current ones about 15-20 times now and still has at least 6 hours playtime probably 10 is more accurate. Which brand were you using?

iclim4's experience is actually the same as my experience with rechargeable batteries in the past.
After every charge, they lasted for less time. Eventually it got to the point where they could hardly hold a charge and were tossed out.

This used to be a big problem with rechargeable batteries, but most manufactures have changed the chemical makeup of the battery to get rid of the problem. NiMH batteries should recharge many times without a problem.
