I use high-quality Nihm rechargeables for my Wii and my 360.

Some unknown company's one specifically for the Wii. It recharges using the Wii's usb port and a cable. I was able to get 2 from a store when I was in Japan and then I never saw them ever agian. I want 2 more for a full set. . .
I use rechargeable batteries. They work well :)

Umm, some 3rd party charger, dunno which brand, could be Nyko, I bought the thing back when I got my Wii in 2006.

Nyko Chargestation. No hassles, all I have to do is put the remotes back in properly when I'm not using them. Even rechargable batteries are to annoying to deal with for me.
"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

Well sounds like you had bad luck or something with those rechargeables. I use the energizer rechargeables and 15 minute energizer charger. Mine last about 6-10 hours playtime. 15 minute charges make the rechargeable batteries lifetime shorter but not that short. I have charged the current ones about 15-20 times now and still has at least 6 hours playtime probably 10 is more accurate. Which brand were you using? |
iclim4's experience is actually the same as my experience with rechargeable batteries in the past.
After every charge, they lasted for less time. Eventually it got to the point where they could hardly hold a charge and were tossed out.
I have rechargeables and I have more batteries than will fit in my Wiimotes so unless all my motes run out of juice at once I'll always have enough batteries
Regular rechargeable batteries. I use them on the 360 controller too, one charger for both consoles...
Now I have a few non-rechargeable batteries as well, only used when I forgot to recharge the other ones.
