@ Stan, then why doesnt Sony pay for Gears 2 to come on PS3? B/c there are contracts.

So.....Rockstar asked Sony to get out of their exclusive contract... and Sony allowed them.... so that they could now put out Exclusive games for MS.

I dont get it.

rockstar went to sony with a exclusitvity contract, and then sony did not want to pay for it so they said no. well thats what i heard

IIRC Sony already has an exclusivity contract with Rockstar for GTA4, but they let them out of the contract for an agreement that RockStar's next new IP will be exclusive.

Then, Rockstar goes and makes exclusive DLC for the 360. WTF?

How do you know that? Why else would they be exclusive to Microsoft

Also, rumours are that that money was just lent or something like that. Anyway, nothing is exclusive forever unless it is published by a 1st party
