GOONL!NE’s just been tipped to a tweet from an SCEA spokesperson which gives us a really big hint at something for E3.

Jake Osuwiah, who is a PR for SCEA, has dropped a serious hint as to what could only one can assume to be a brand new title coming to the PS3, which he’s described as “fresh” in the tweet. The best thing: the embargo/NDA goes soon.

E3 UPDATE: Fresh New Title for PS3 @ E3, will keep you guys posted as soon as I can (Embargo might be lifting soon), STAY TUNED…

We’ll know next Tuesday, SCEA have their E3 press conference.

if they r going to reveal only 1 new exclusive for PS3 at E3 than its a bit disappointing. i m expecting atleast couple of new exclusives for PS3

In fairness this could be a good thing if Sony are now focusing on only titles in the near future. For too long now we've benn getting announcements from them over a year before they really should have gone public. Only 1 announcement isn't weak when you consider they pretty much gave you this years line up at last years E3 (and it's a pretty stunning one), perhaps this means next year we'll not have to ride a hype train waiting an age for games.

It seems that if it were a first party studio, only Incognito or Sony Bend would really be elegible. Although Sony Bend are said to be working on a PSP game and there is still a big question mark over Incognito, we don't know if that studio is still running, or at the capacity to produce another game.

Independent third party Lightbox Interactive is a possibility, as they have some form of PS2/PSP/PS3 exclusive in the works.
