Oh man, there's 3 threads about the same thing. Where's the moderation?

I don't understand why the MW2 for Wii threads draw so much attention from non-Wii owners.
@topic:
I hope the rumors are true. If they are, I bet they are waiting for an E3 announcement.
I would cite regulation, but I know you will simply ignore it.

Hating on Wii has become a sport for some people.

No doubt are the same clowns who just loved to hate Nintendo 64 and GameCube and call Nintendo kiddy.

Probably corporate shills/imposter posters/astroturfers/paid trolls from viral marketing agencies contracted by certain companies competing against Nintendo.
"The Wii has bad 3rd party support" is one of the campaigns being carried out by such agencies.

Cool, how do I get a job like that?

@steven
It's probably like getting a job in telemarketing. I hear people quit those kinds job often.
Just look for Viral Marketing/Buzz Marketing agencies like Arbuthnot Entertainment Group.
It's not easy money though:
"I interviewed for a guerilla marketing business in San Francisco that targeted web forums.
I was told that if I accepted the job, I was to have at LEAST 50 identities on as many forums as I could muster (they wanted 100 eventually), with a goal of 5 posts an hour. The posts had to be well thought out, and the idea was that I was to establish multiple identities with a history on the forums, so that when the timing was right a well written but subtly placed marketing post could be finessed in. And regular visitors would recognize the post as coming from a long time poster." - Anonymous poster on Penny Arcade via The Consumerist
I will buy it if it comes to the Wii with local multiplayer, I think there are a lot of people who share that view and they would be unwise not to make a Wii version simply because the amount of money they would be able to make from it. If it does happen I expect a release atleast a few weeks after the HD consoles and not as much hype but atleast we'll get it.
Currently dreaming of: DKC4 or Sonic the Hedgehog 4 (classic 2D platformers) for WiiWare, Smash Bros. for DSi, New Super Mario World for DSi, a Wii remake or true sequel of Final Fantasy Tactics.
One down, hopefully more awesomeness to come.

First, become a self-centered, egotistical asshole. Then get a communications degree at the cheapest community college you can find. Finally apply at any publisher as a PR lackey and enjoy the benefits of verbal miscommunication and illogical commentary.
