I'd say the middle column needs to be slightly wider then.

Perhaps, can't say. But this exact design always stood out as annoying to me, and the new one actually felt like it was designed with all the available features in mind. It just took some getting used to, but every change does that.

The rich text editor is still missing from the walkthroughs/in-depth guides on the cheats page. I've been waiting for it to come back, as I want to submit a few.

EDIT: page break seems like a weird item to have in the RTE.

Lets try a table:

Ok definately some table issues still.... the table at the bottom was the one I was working on.... it seems impossible to colour the cells of the table, only text gets a background colour.... the selection issues were present before VGC2.0 (unable to select certain cells properly without long winded method involving selecting each cell seperately before selecting them all) but as that seems to be an issue with the program used rather than what happened for VGC2.0 I can live with it. (Especially as it fixes itself temporarily if you edit your post)
An issue that was present on past VGC, but seemed to have been resolved until now, is that when I copied the table, and posted it above, some of the blank cells have dissapeared, and some cells with content have dissapeared or have even swapped columns

Upon a second edit... 2 of the cells below where it says "green text" have dissapeared in the editor.

nd if you are wondering why I am posting all this above the original table, it is because I forgot to add a new line before posting the table, so it is now not possible to type below it. (I was just about to try a new button I saw last time which said something about returning, but the button is no longer there.... are you in the process of editing the editor?)
