So I am on my third PS3 and today I turned it on however all I see is a black screen. I can still turn my PS3 on and off using the controller however as I said all I see is a black screen. I really have no idea about what is wrong with it.

Have you changed your connection? Try using the video output reset trick. Hold the power button until it beeps a second time, then it should reset video output

Hold down the power button or call Sony. Hopefully you'll be back in the game soon.

Turn the TV off, and, unplug the cable from PS3 and TV, replug, turn on the tv, try the PS3 again. That fixed it for me.

yeah HDMI cables seem to do that a lot if ur screen is ever blank just do what Xen said it should fix it everytime
