Actually, we got The Conduit. That is more than enough to keep us happy.

If The Conduit is that awesome, explain why I don't see PS3 and 360 fanboys demanding it be on their consoles, the way Wii people, such as yourself, are demanding Modern Warfare 2 be on the Wii?

I've seen other console owners want The Conduit on their console,

Seriously? I am very surprised if that is actually the case.....

where is my Madworld????

Just about everywhere I see some 360 fanboy (notice that it is always 360 gamers) saying that they wish The Conduit was on the 360. One time some idiot on YouTube said that he wished to see The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on the 360. Why do almost ALL 360 players wish they had an exclusive for another console? Don't they have enough. Every second they are saying they want KillZone 2, Resistance, The Conduit, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, etc.? Why is that?

The above is actually an article about the sales of Wii games. This is from my blog and the quoted article is from Ian Fisch of Gamasutra. I reccomend you go there and it'll explain all about the sales of Wii versions of games. Then after the article there's a letter I sent to Nintendo about their marketing skills.

Yeah, stop assuming like an idiot that we share the graphics>controls opinion. We don't.

You're making the assumption that most people share your opinion that Wii shooters have better controls.

Sales figures would indicate the opposite.

How do sales figures indicate this?
1 Call of Duty: World at War

5.46m
2 Call of Duty: World at War 3.24m
3 Call of Duty: World at War

1.12m

Come on that's silly.  There is more to a game than just the controls.  The PS360 versions obviously have better graphics and better online and are generally not the gimped versions.  If Wii had the same graphics as 360 which version do you think would sell more?  Of course the Wii version.  The only thing these sales indicate is that more people consider graphics/online/full version to be more important than controls.

The 360 version would still sell more because it's the demographics on the console that matter.  If the 360 had a 50 million installed base and the Wii had a 30 million one you wouldn't see me arguing that Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games would sell better on 360.  I don't understand how people can possibly try to argue or believe something similar like in this case.

Well that is where your argument becomes ridiculous.  Why do shooter fans buy a 360 or PS3 over the Wii?  Isn't it cause of the lack of HD graphics and the fact that there are very few shooter games on the Wii?  Surely you can't be suggesting that it is cause of the Wii Remote and they want to stick to regular pad.  If Wii had HD graphics (assuming it cost the same of course) many of the people who got a PS3 or 360 would have bought a Wii instead first cause they would get better shooter controls, secondly because all the big HD games would be on Wii as well and thirdly because they would not be losing out on HD graphics by having a Wii only.

For example I have a 360 but if Wii had HD graphics it would have received Fallout 3 which would have meant I would never have had to get a 360.  It would also have meant I would have played COD4 with pointer controls and amazing graphics.

How could the Wii have HD graphics and cost the same?  Seriously if you're going to come up with what-ifs at least make them remotely reasonable.  Nintendo always makes money on hardware so if they had a HD system you can bet it would be expensive.  Also there are other factors you seem to ignore.  Like the fact that Nintendo has no first-party FPS game comparable to the Halo franchise which brought many millions of FPS fans to the 360.  It doesn't have an online comparable to Xbox Live where many FPS fans go because that is where their friends are.  The 360 came out a year earlier and was able to attract many FPS fans even before Halo 3 came out.  It also has other exclusive franchises (Gears of War in particular) that attract fans of such games, something Nintendo doesn't have.  At the end of the day it's not just graphics or the input device that make the difference, if that was the case then CoD4 would have sold a lot more on PC than 360.  I mean there are apparently 300 million PC gamers according to some people and yet the PC version of CoD4 couldn't outsell a version on another system with a 30 million installed base.

What is being debated is whether COD5 selling less on Wii indicates that people prefer a control pad to a Wii remote.  To analyse this you have to simply imagine a situation where all other variables are removed.  Obviously in real life those cannot be removed but clearly they can be removed for the sake of argument to assess one simple fact.  If Wii was HD, didn't have crap online and all the consoles cost the same as they do now that would be a perfect analysis of how much Wii remote affects the sales of COD5.  Clearly the Wii version would sell more than the PS3 version.  Even you being such a massive Wii hater would agree with that.  You make a good point about Halo 3 bring FPS fans to 360 but I still believe the Wii version would have sold more which would suggest many people love the Wii remote but ignore COD on Wii due to lack of HD.  I don't think that's a hard enough concept to grasp.

Second game with voice chat on Wii? WOW!!!! 360 games have had this standard feature from day one,

And you say amazing controls? with the wii waddle? give me a break, I'd much rather a proper controller any day of the week over that excuse of a "control", and you say cool online modes? we have had this with cod4 and halo 3 for years now,

Conduit is not brining anything new to the table, just lame attempts at things already done a LOT LOT better on the HD twins,

Ladies and gentlemen, this is known as consumer ego embellishment.  A direct attempt to degrade a competing product to assuage the building resentment of their product of choice.

Insecure of their own gaming product, they resort to insults, affronts, immaturity, childish monikers, etc...as a means to build self esteem and confidence when it's naturally lacking.

The rEVOLution is not being televised

Well I was dissapointed origionally when COD4 came out for only PS3/360. But expecting its sequel to come to Wii would be pretty stupid of me.

Don't get me wrong I'd love to see it come to Wii. But now that I have a 360 I'd probubly buy the 360 version anyways. The graphics are far superior on the 360 hardware. For shooting on Wii were going to have the Conduit, RedSteel2 and which ever new shooters get announced at E3.
