Forget all this touch screen and multimedia capability nonsense, back in the day all you needed to enjoy a game on the road was four AA batteries and a green screen. The original Game Boy was handheld gaming at its purest form, featuring only 2 buttons, a D-pad and a monochrome screen. The system was a best selling item from its launch in 1989 to its replacement by the Game Boy Color in 1998, in that time selling over 70 million units!
