The PSP absolutely has some great games, but it's still not comparable to the DS. I've owned both for a long time. Trust me on this one lol.

PSP has greater games. If I may say so, the DS controls ruin games with great potential. It's great for Sudoku, Crossword games and anything else point and click but is awful for action adventure.

Then you just use the D-pad.  If you want to talk about controls you should mention FPS controls on DS vs PSP, no matter how you look at it DS is king of handheld FPS games.

The DS got a 3.7 for library? Its got so many games, how is that possible? I mean, its got your traditional platformers and RPGs, but also crazy shit like Elektroplankton and stuff like the Korg DS-10 (which I suppose technically isn't even a game lol). It's really a landslide victory in favor of teh DS> The PSP has some great stuff, but the DS just has so much more.

The only arguable advantage the PSP has in this area over the DS is games like Resistance: Retribution and Syphon Filter - shooters that aren't all that good because of the controls.

I suppose for my personal tastes the game library argument boils down to Pokemon and Prof. Layton vs Patapon. All three are amazing franchises, but its clear which side wins lol.

lol. Compared to what exactly? I don't see any reason other than lack of funds to not buy a PSP. It has good games in every genre.

Wait what? Shooter controls are better on DS... if you play any FPS on DS and play it on PSP, Ds destroys it, and same for TPS games though there are few of those on DS for some reason.

I didn't mean to say play a cross platform FPS, I was meaning play an FPS on PSP and then another FPS on DS, there hasn't been a single FPS on DS to play worse then a PSP FPS.  Which isn't me trying to force my opinion it's just the PSP uses the O, X, [ ], and triangle buttons to aim and DS is more like a mouse pad.
