matter of cost and I blew all my cash on my PC.
Even the cheapest 360 is equal to four Wii games. And I could get more than five games if I buy used games, DS games, budget games, or downloadable games.
There are games that I would love to play on 360 or PS3, but none of them are worth losing four or more potential game purchases. IMO, one home console is all a person should really need to stay satisfied. I only bought a DS because I developed an itch to play games whenever and wherever I was. And it helped that it was capable of playing three (THREE!) different Fire Emblem games.
Edit: I never get sick of the three PS3 sketch.

If your console is a Wii, you have access to the Virtual Console. So the cheapest competitor needs to look tastier than 20-40 of the greatest games of all time downloaded in an instant ready for your fingertips to party on forever. Because the VC > PSWii60.
maybe i will add a wii but probably it will be a PSP, never the ring of red machine
Money and time.
i have 2 consoles(wii and ps2) and one handheld(psp) and i don't have time to even play and finish games i already have. i didn't even play a psp game in a long time cause there weren't many that good, but then for the second half of the year there is like 30 psp games i'm interested in, another 25 wii games(and few gc title) and atleast 10 ps2 games i wanted to play but still don't own em. in july i will be getting 360(and new LCD monitor) for hd games so there will be another stash of title i will want to play.
and i don't even play every good game there is but only those i really, really like.
Nothing to do with lack of time or money, I just chose the PS3 because I've had a bad experience with the 360 and Nintendo games never appealed to me.

Let me put it this way: If I started gaming for about 4 hours a day every day (which I won't), I still wouldn't be able to finish all the games I want to finish from the consoles I do own for at least 5 years.
1 courrent gen console is simply not justifiable for he time being, let alone 2 or 3.
Oh and also money.
Quem disse que a boca é tua?
Qual é, Dadinho...?
Dadinho é o caralho! Meu nome agora é Zé Pequeno!
Lets see roughly how much I have spent this gen:
Wii - £180
Wii games - £340 (would have been a lot more had I not bought many at discount)
Wiiware + VC - £120
Extra Wii remote and extra nunchuck - £45
Total - £685
So had I bought all three home consoles at launch I would have spent £425+£300+£180 = £905 and I would have only got 1 game out of it (Wii Sports)
Were I to buy all three consoles now I would spend £300 + £170 + £200 (Wii price increase in UK) = £670, basically spending what I have in total with just the Wii.

yeah, true. i just counted all my wii, gc and ps2 games and i have 100(damn you bargain prices and cheap used games) plus another 15 old pc and psp titles. my room is way too cramped(especially if you add all the controllers i have and stuff) i really need to sell some of my games i already finished.
