the way the page is setup you need a resolution higher then 1024x768 to see the whole page.

I'm not sure what my resolution is, I think it's 800*600.... I vaguely remember setting it at that because the other resolutions made everthing smaller (which I found odd at the time... I thought changing resolutions was meant to make things more detailed, not smaller.... Now I know images are a set size, so they take up the same pixel space, so more pixels on the screen means smaller images.)

Now it has been around for a while I have to admit my eyes hurt more viewing the site too, so although I love the redesign I want white back.

I did see a negative image of the site posted though (negate black and orange and it comes out white and blue) which still looked really nice, so hopefully we will have the option of a second skin, one being the negative of the other (would need to recognise to change everyones text too though, as people using the dark site post in white, which would not be viewable on the light site)

I wear glasses and never had a problem reading text on site.

Now I have a problem reading it.

I've been digging around the Stylish add-on for Firefox (which allows you to set your own stylesheets for sites), but this one doesn't seem to be getting affected >_>

Yes, you are correct, images are a set  resolution, they get smaller when you turn up the display resolution.  800*600 is a really low resolution.  I do 1920x1080 but the font is really small and hard to read, especiallly with the color theme

I have this same problem. I have had my monitor set at 1024 x 768 since I bought my computer 4 years ago. I'm used to it, and it has always worked for me.

With the site redesign, I tried increasing my resolution to 1280 x 1024. It made the website fit, but the text was too small to read comfortably. That made me have to do a text zoom anyway, so I switched back to my original resolution.

I'm not sure what it is about this website that makes it not fit. All the other websites I visit fit my screen perfectly.

Well, that obviously is the case.  It just seems that most websites either adjust or are designed to be not so wide.

He has to much stuff on the front page, i don't see how he would really shrink it down without redesigning the front page

im using FF and i adjusted the site to fit my screen but it just makes the site not run smoothly when scrolling down or up
