Forums - Microsoft - I forgot to make my customary RRoD thread.

My thread about getting an RRoD is different though: It has a happy ending.

I was playing the orange box (of course it would be the game to do it, as no console can really handle all of that awesome) and I was really getting into a match of Team Fortress 2. Then I heard an electric snap of some sort, my xbox displays the 3 blood lights, and I sh*t myself a little.

I was actually kind of awestruck by the lights.. I mean, they were the fabled blood lights that only 1/3 of launch xbox owners get to experience. Since I had a falcon (oct. 2007, I think) I knew my chances were even less assured of this event.

But I turned it back on and wa-la, it works again. The console does seem slightly louder though.

The three lights were beautiful, and I get to keep my xbox for a little longer (until it finally gives out). I guess I am one of the lucky 15% who get to experience the 3 blood lights with a falcon. And one of only .00000000000000001% to survive it. It's like falling out of an airplane without a parachute. Anyway, I feel very lucky right now, time to go virtual gambling!

And that's the only thing I need is *this*. I don't need this or this. Just this PS4... And this gaming PC. - The PS4 and the Gaming PC and that's all I need... And this Xbox 360. - The PS4, the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360, and that's all I need... And these PS3's. - The PS4, and these PS3's, and the Gaming PC, and the Xbox 360... And this Nintendo DS. - The PS4, this Xbox 360, and the Gaming PC, and the PS3's, and that's all *I* need. And that's *all* I need too. I don't need one other thing, not one... I need this. - The Gaming PC and PS4, and Xbox 360, and thePS3's . Well what are you looking at? What do you think I'm some kind of a jerk or something! - And this. That's all I need.

blood lights!?..whats that?

I had an RROD in 2007. It happened once then it turned back on. After a couple of days, it happened again.

So, for a couple of weeks it would give me the RROD and then work again after a while.

After those 2 weeks, it gave the RROD again and that time it didnt come back from the dead.

So, maybe yours is beginning that process.

Didnt want to scare you, but oh well.

Sorry

I got the RROD once, it was because the power cord wasn't plugged in properly.

Tease.

we should make a thread counting how much everyone got a RROD =P

Example :

Strategyking92 -- 1
marciosmg -- 2

and so on

im guessing Ps3 fanboys will have the most.

Wow the exact same thing happened when my 360 RROD.

I've had the 3 RROD with my Feb 2008 Falcon 2 times already, and it has nothing to do with overheating. I've found out the xbox will do this to protect itself from spikes or drops in electricity. Both times a reboot would take care of the issue, my xbox has been running smoothly as always. If you heard an electric snap, most likely it wasn't the xbox, but the actual electric power at your place.

Try out this new Online Game!!
