Hollywood is finally rebooting the Tomb Raider film series (http://kotaku.com/5140786/tomb-raider-films-getting-reboot).  It appears that the movie is going to star a younger Lara than the previous films and deal heavilly with Lara Croft's origins and backstory.

 

 

It also appears that they are seriously interested in making Megan Fox the new Lara. 

 

 I don't agree with this and feel that there is another individual that was born to play Lara Croft.  Principally because she looks and talks exactly like Lara Croft and that is Lucy Pinder.

 

 

So if any readers her at VGChartz have any pull with anyone in Hollywood, please tell them that imo opinion Lucy Pinder and not Megan Fox should be the new Lara Croft.  If Sasha Gray

 

 

 

can pull off an arthouse movie like The Girlfriend Experience, I know Lucy Pinder would be very qualified to be  the star of the new Tomb Raider film and again imo opinion she would be much more suited to the role than Megan Fox.  Lucy even has Lara's brown eyes.

Lucy pinder does resemble Lara Croft. But can she even act? I doubt it. Plus she isn't really that hot (not Megan Fox hot anyway).

     I think Lucy is much hotter than Megan Fox.  Megan Fox just looks like a junior league version of Jessica Chobot to me.  If you're talking about acting chops and comparing Lucy Pinder and Megan Fox, I would say its anybodies ball game.  If you wanted to give the role to the best actress possible then I think you would pick either Kate Beckinsale, Evangeline Lilly, or Rona Mitra over Megan Fox any day.  But if you want someone that is believable as Lara Croft, Lucy Pinder would be the best bet.  Lucy has three A levels, Lara's looks, an authentic accent, and if you check out any of her youtube videos you can tell that she can act competently enough.

They should just abandon the franchise altogether, like everyone in else who is in their right mind has.

Legend was awesome. So was Anniversary. And Dave Halverson of Play Magazine and Diehard Gamefan said that Tomb Raider Underworld was the third best game of '08 after MGS 4 and Prince of Persia.
