It seems to be gay month or something here, and since ive seen a lot of posters embrace multiculturalism and different peoples views, I felt comfortable making this thread. Also, I seem to remember someone on the "who is out and proud" thread telling me to make one of these trheads... anyways who is black and proud?

I dont believing in pride for what you are, rather i believe in pride for who you are.

I am neither of those things.

I am white-British and not particularly proud.

Generally if a form requires me to state my ethnicity, I prefer to say "white-European" if there is an option to.

I am the product of an Arabic father and American (European American)mother! And I'm proud just being who I am.

My parents are both Japanese, and I was born and raised an American. I hate the conservatives who shame the Japanese with their idiotic statements, but I also fucking hate the liberals who say we should be ashamed for things we never did (as in, the future generations weren't alive, nor participated in WWII's atrocities) and always talk down Japan.

I say that we shouldn't be proud of our ethnicity, and that looking at the accomplishments of those of the same ethnicity and taking credit for it is crappy and illogical behavior.

I'm proud of being white.. (blindingly white, actually)

Why does it sound racist when someone is "white and proud", but if someone is "black and proud" that's just fine? I really hate double standards.
