So people are lucky, but if you get cuaght..you get banned from XBL and lose your warranty...the way MS cracks down on Achivement cheaters is tough....so Modded consoles should not last long under the radar

Wrong!, My two oldest 360's were flashed in 2006 and still work perfectly on xbox live as do 70 out of the 71 360's I have flashed to date, you will NOT get banned as long as your careful and all people know that now along with everyone using the new filmware that was recently updated for full protection on xbox live,

But seriously, if you own a 360, then that's fine. If the system isn't hacked, which I still have my doubts on the matter but I don't have evidence you are lying, then that's fine too. If he's stalking you through threads, report him. I don't know. If you didn't present yourself as a PS3 fanboy then they wouldn't harass you about it. Hell, I've been viewed as a PS3 fanboy for a long time and I think I'm still thrown into that category yet nobody has ever questioned whether I have a 360 or a Wii or a DS or not. It's all about general presentation and composure on this website. You can easily be pro-PS3 and even pro-Sony without coming off as a fanboy.

As for questioning if you have a 360, there are a lot of people who have claimed they bought a system and sold the system. Why shouldn't anybody believe you wouldn't do the same if they don't really know you?

Precisely, in my eyes thats the overwhelming reason why many call BS on him owning a 360.  I don't see why you guys are being so polite skirting around the issue of piracy with him, he made the inference quite clear and has obviously no problems with the subject but doesn't want to make excuses for his actions or justify them to others.

It's rather funny but I find most pirates in the end never truly enjoy games they pirate as because they haven't spent their hard earned cash on games they tend to not get the most from them.

@ Serious - The above is why you'll never enjoy a 360 exclusive, you're too cheap to invest time and money in great games.  I don't have a problem with pirates, my issue is with idiots justifying their piracy.  You want to be a pirate fine but don't try and make excuses regarding it's a try before you buy or any other crap.  Doesn't pretty much EVERY game come with a demo on live prior to release now so it's the lamest excuse in the book.

LOL... Notice how my 360 is on the floor... it's because the system OVERHEATS AND DIES if I put it in my cabinet, like I'm able to do with EVERY other console I have ever owned.

 

Notice how I have the battery pack for the 360 controller.... because the standard controller came with a pack that needed freakin AA batteries. What is this, 1995? Ps3 came with built in batteries and a recharger.

and then you guys wonder why I don't like the system. One of the reasons is because the hardware was designed so poorly.
