Forums - Nintendo - Nintendo E3: Will it be enough for you if they.....

E3 is near and a lot of hype is starting to rise. How much are you expecting from Nintendo Press Conference?

It seems clear that they will talk about Wii SportsResort, Wii Fit Plus and probably Pikmin 3. My question is: will that be enough for you or you will feel disappointed? I mean, last year, they only showed three games: Wii SportsResort, Wii Music and Animal Crossing, do you thing that fact will change that year?

In my case it absolutely won't be enough and would feel totally disappointed.

What else would you add?

Maybe a first trailer of Zelda Wii at the end of the conference would make things look better...

Without a doubt, if Zelda Wii dropped it'd be game over. Nintendo wins. I'm not expecting that to happen at all. If they were to do exactly as you said I would be slightly disappointed. They need at least one surprise. Something cool.

And what about if they think that Pikmin 3 is a surprise?

o.O
ROFL Wii Fit+? Where did you get that from? Stupid rumors from stupid people?

Thats not coming and its sure as hell wont be at E3. I could care less for WSR and Pikmin 3. So Id feel let down if that was it. My pesimistic side is telling me that WSR and Pikmin 3 will be the focus and that will be fail.

I'd sure hope not.  They told us about that last year.  Hopefully Nintendo realizes the difference between surprise, and assumption.  I'd be surprised if they showed us Zelda.  I'm assuming they're gonna show Pikmin.

Lets be clear here, that Wii Fit + thing was just from some retailers release list, right? Meaning it was most likely just a typo for Wii Motion +, right?

I didn't miss any actual evidence to support such a thing right? Because unless there has been reason to think so, I think it's pretty safe to say that thing just isn't happening.

I'd just be happy to find out about all those games they announced at their conference after E3 that we then never heard about again. Dynamic Slash, Cosmic Walker, the other 4 or 5.

I'm a mod, come to me if there's mod'n to do.

Chrizum is the best thing to happen to the internet, Period.

Serves me right for challenging his sales predictions!

Bet with dsisister44: Red Steel 2 will sell 1 million within it's first 365 days of sales.

What if the surprise is not showing Pikmin 3 :P.

In fact, I am 0% hyped for Pikmin 3, so I really hope they have something else to show.
Related to Wii Fit Plus, it is totally normal that they already must be thinking on a sequel to Wii Fit because the original has already sold 20 million units.
What about Factor 5 and Retro Studios? Metroid Prime 3 was finished 2 years ago, they have had enough time to develop a new game.

At least Pikmin is better than Animal Crossing

It is better than Animal Crossing but it is not good enough.
