Good point.  Left 4 Dead actually has fun multiplayer.

I've always thought standard bearer is what sales to the consumers, that's why it's the standard, last gen, it was the PS2, this gen, it's the Wii, not much explaining to do.

*boots Killzone 2 up*

catch-up? the PS3 to the 360? really?

Yeah, pretty much.

Left 4 Dead for the Xbox 360 is about the same level in terms of market impact. Pretty good for a free exclusive.

@Zizzla_Rachet

You mean no one mentioned marketing impact right .......

Also u can safely assume "Xen" meant  quality

But hey what ever makes u happy........Spike

So does Killzone 2, but that's besides the point.

Yeah, the entire point is that it's a matter of opinion.  I enjoy L4D multiplayer (I have the PC version BTW), and found the two times I played KZ2 multiplayer sluggish and underwhelming.  That doesn't make me right or anything, I just didn't like nen-suer's smug tone.

In quality, that's subjective. In amount, the PS3 will never have as many games as the 360, but quantity =/= quality. As far as graphics, that's subjective too, although I'd rate Killzone 2 Console Graphics King ATM, but again, that's just me.

Basically, you asked an interesting question, but it can only be answered subjectively, not factually, unless you mean game amount.

The Xbox 360 has both the quality and quantity advantage for the overall library. The PS3 still has very few top flight exclusives.

Uummm, in your opinion, once again. Like I said, that is subjective, NOT factual.

See this is why I don't engage in converation with you anymore Squill, it's never positive, and usually, very one-sided on your part.

Actually its not my opinion, as im subjective and biased then an objective comparaison of subjective opinion, in this case its metacritic is what I use.

If I had to post a personal opinion the PS3 and Xbox 360 would be relatively equal for me, but I don't like doing that because its too subjective.

@non_suer: Isn't left 4 dead really only half a game since theres no single player to speak of? So therefore its judged only on that aspect, so the individual component of multi-player may be better but the overall package of killzone 2 may also be considered better. (Better means more awesome sauce per dollar, averaged over many many people)

Tease.

Marketing impact can only be measured by sales....Graphics have no affect in game on marketing impact...The Dishwasher:Dead Samurai does no feats in the graphical department yet it's marketing impact on XBL was pretty substancial since Major nelson went out and ment the creator and had the interview broadcasted over XBL.....if they did(Graphics)...then Killzone should of done atleast COD numbers in it's first month..It's only comercial featured a special made cut scence that is not part of the game and no in gameplay footage...So maybe Killzone2 selling point was it's graphics..but that can't be said for every game.....The reason people buy a game differs but marketing does not rely on the graphics of the game solely.... If the marketing behind a game iis graphical assest then you can say people bought the game becuase of it's graphics... Again for most games graphical marketing usually takes place on the internet where the "Core" gamers get info....

No what Xen said was simply trying to deter the "Catch-up" statement......
