I wouldn't be surprised if transformers makes more then the original. Potter should be close to a billion but I wouldn't be surprised if it missed the mark yet again.
Wouldn't a better comparison be Terminator vs. Star Trek? They're much more similar films than T4 and Museum.
Terminators box office results so far have been underwhelming to say the least.

but i am doing with the museum because the two movies was released in the same week.
Trek should make more in the us then terminator. I never thought such a thing would ever happen! Amazing times really.

Well the second Ice Age did $650m and there was little buzz or expectation that it would do that kind of business. It was a pretty poor movie so if they actually put some effort into the story this time around(and it looks like they have) I'd expect similar if not bigger numbers.
You'll have to pray pretty hard for Angels & Demons!

I haven't seen either, but according to RottenTomatoes, Museum has a score of 43% while Terminator has 34%.. both of which are pretty awful. For comparison, Star Trek has a 95%.
