This cristmas it would be good if Sony re-introduced the 20GB back into the market for $300 or less let me know what you think.

They'd probably be losing more money, the price of a 20 GB and a 80GB hard drive isn't that big of a difference.
Maybe when they make the Slim PS3 they can throw in a small hard drive like a 20 GB just to make it that much more less expensive.

Isnt it like cheaper to get 80GB then 20GB? And by reintroducing the old SKU back really just means having backwards compatible back, no wifi, and re-adding 2 USB ports? I think itll just be better to have the current 80GB SKU with backwards comp. for $300

likely a 45nm 20gb no BC version, no wifi version.
i doubt it things seem to point to bigger HDDs nowadays with all these DLs and 5gb installs look at MS there phasing out the elite so ill assume a bigger HDD from them on all skus this fall
a 80g with B/C for 300 would be good though

Play Me
I have a 40 gig and I'm at the point that I have to constantly "clean the fridge" as it were. So many games require 5 gig installs that it eats through that space pretty damn quick, especially if you are an avid fan of the online stores delectable offerings.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

Man, so many PS3 games require installs. Then, there's PSN games, add ons, game trailers, game demos, and (In my case) downloading movies and music from the net. I got an 80 gig HDD that's almost full. 20 gigs isn't a good deal for anyone with internet access, in my opinion.
i think it costs more to make a 20GB hdd then it does a 60GB one now. Thats probably why M$ switched over.
Long Live SHIO!

The 20Gb PS3 was released in Japan, US, and I think a couple other places.
It featured full BC (EE/GC) but no memory card slots or wifi.
