Now I can see why Kojima wasn't satisfied with MGS4. It's crap like this with too many cinematics, that makes you want to create actual gameplay. He took the criticism of Cliffy B very well.

The first sentence you highlighted was aimed at those like myself who actually like the graphics while the second one was aimed at those that don't!!! I think most people will understand my statements just fine, but thank you for pointing it out I'll make sure to clarify things better next time so everyone knows exactly what I meant!!!

Looks interesting, still not first day buy for me. This demo is....ok....graphics are decent, but in a game like this I am looking for story.....not graphics.

I agree with what I have read on other blog sites regarding this game, the voice acting is a bit.....mehh. Will have to wait and see. I was hoping to get both this and Alan Wake, but now..........yeah.......I will just wait and see regarding both.

I am guessing you must have a "sd" tv for a computer monitor?  I loved what I saw, I am a big fan of Indigo prophecy and will be buying this game first day.  I think you are entitled to your opinion, but it is still just "your' opinion.  If you think so badly about this game, why are you even commenting over and over and over again about a game you will not buy?  Do you even have a ps3?  Between you truth prophet (untruth prophet), Derek, and misterromar mk4 I cannot tell who is the bigger ps3 hater.

 

 

Actually....no. to tell you the truth, I have a 17" Widescreen HD LCD from HP. I have every system this gen but a Wii. If you give criticism to any game that a system-hugger seems to have a hard on for, you're a hater of the system. Lets focus on the game here. I love Uncharted...so does that make me a PS3 hater? I liked MGS4, but thought it could've been better....does that make me a PS3 hater? Whatever keeps you up at night.

Think about it for a minute, why would a critically acclaimed game maker care about a lower level game maker by the name of "cliffy b".  Hideo is a game maker who is second to none (IMOB) and cliffy has not made a game on the same level as the Metal Gear Solid  franchinse.  If anything cliffy should be watching Hideo as he ( Hideo)makes games that have cult followers from many generations and many different platforms..........the same cannot be said of Clifford Bleszinski.

I'm having mixed feelings about it. They looked ''normal'' after a quick look, but they look very unpolished compared to the earlier footage we got last year. Also, the voice acting seems a little weird.


Hopefully the final product will contain more Madison :D

Yep. Because you can't say otherwise objectively. Why ? Because all you would say would also be opinion... In other words subjective.

 

I really do like the unreal tournament games. Have unreal tournament 2003, 2004 and 3. But mgs4 involved me more than soooo many other games are able to. And the QTEs are for once some that i wanted to do. They felt like playing. Not like pressing a button and then the char would do a action. I'm hoping that heavy rain manages to capture some of that.

First of all Kojima and Cliffy B are gaming gods. Just because you prefer one over the other, doesn't change the fact. Kojima and Cliff are two different animals who focus on two totally different aspects of gaming. Cliffy is more on the shooter/ gaming engine side, while Kojima is more on full IP development. Nevertheless, they are both directors. Both of them have cult followings.

Actually I am glad you have a good set up PC wise (I for a minute thought you were browsing this site on your wii which would have made sense, it displays only sd resolutions).  If you actually have a ps3 (which is still weird seeing I never see you say anything positive about all things sony) then that is great and I have been debunked.  the problem I have is that  you are very combative toward any exclusive game that Sony has (even Metal Gear) and you claim to own it?  Color me unimpressed or convinced that you are not open enough to own any system out side of the 360.
